Julia McConaghy, founder and principal, has extensive hands on experience in the healthplan, hospital, physician group and MSO setting. Mrs. McConaghy is able to apply practical solutions to real life situations enabling physicians, IPAs, MSOs, Healthplans and others, to take charge of their rapidly changing environment. Her twenty-five year career, includes positions as MSO and IPA chief executive, health plan medical affairs’ department head, and small medical group administrator. Her professional appointments include part-time faculty in the Graduate Program at Chapman University and a preceptor for the Graduate Studies Program of UCLA. Mrs. McConaghy holds a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration as well as Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management.

 

Consultants

Sheri B. Cohen, financial and accounting associate.
Ms. Cohen utilizes her accounting, financial and tax experience to assist clients with their financial services needs. Ms. Cohen's experiences as corporate controller for many corporate clients, as well as her public accounting background, enable her to capture financial and accounting data and transpose it into a meaningful reporting structure to assist decision makers in understanding their financial and accounting challenges and opportunities. She holds CPA licensing in KS, AR, WA, VA, and CA, as well as her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Colleen M. Nevins, R.N., Health Care Consultant.
Ms. Nevins is unique, as her experience spans a broad base of clinical and financial operations.  Her HMO and IPA experience dating to 1989, includes utilization and quality management, as well as operations management related to contract development and implementation, claims review and oversight, credentialing and data analysis.  As a California Registered Nurse, she has the ability to assist clients with their clinical/financial analysis needs, as well as their quality improvement and utilization management needs.  Additionally, Ms. Nevins has gained much experience in developing site-specific policy and procedures in the above areas.

Ms. Nevins earned her Graduate Degree in Nursing Administration from UCLA and undergraduate in Nursing from University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.
